Phrasing:


Words run together when phrasing. The last sound of one word flows into the first sound of the following word, as if they were part of the same word.

Examples:



  • Bank manager - mudîr~il-banq
  • Goodbye! - maý~is-salême!
  • Who's new car is this? - la-mîn~has-siyyâra~jdîde?
